Kaimbi joined South African club Jomo Cosmos from Ramblers F.C. of Namibia in November 2006. This was considered a huge upset considering that Chonburi had just missed out on the League title and came into the match with the statistically worst defense in Thailand"s top division. Kaimbi was in fine form for most of the first half of the 2015 Thai Premier League season, but his campaign was marred by a red card he received in the last minute in a match against Buriram United.
After Kaimbi committed a dangerous foul on Chitiphat Thanklang, Buriram captain Suchao Nutnum angrily confronted him, and a few moments latter Kaimbi hit out at Suchao striking him in the face.
Kaimbi was shown a red card for the incident while Suchao received a yellow. Afterwards Kaimbi was suspended for four matches and finned 40,000 Bahts, while Suchao was suspended for one match and finned 10,000 Bahts for allegedly racially provoking Kaimbi during the incident.
That match turned out to be his last for as a week later the remaining five months of his contract was terminated on mutual consent and Spanish midfielder Toti signed as his replacement.
