Quotations:
"I have earned my way in the world and helped to support three children through journalism and, more recently, through writing history and biography. All the while, as energy permits, I write poems and fiction. I am fascinated by human nature and social issues, rather than power politics, finance, or bureaucracies."
"In 1994 I moved from Salt Lake City to the Phoenix area. Following the completion of my works in progress, I hope to devote increasing time and energy to writing fiction, thus allowing poems to emerge. My memory burgeons with material from my experiences in journalism and other interviewing opportunities. Also, potential characters, images, and plots confront me everywhere."
She married John Sillito, spelling difference intentional, in 1968 and they had three children.
