Career
She first came to public attention after winning a musical competition at age six by playing the piano. In 1930 she was employed by Melbourne radio station 3?? and continued to work in radio for most of her life. She also worked extensively in live musical theatre as a band member and accompanist.
Her repertoire included working with such artists as Barry Humphries.
She died on 2 January 1992 after a long battle with cancer.
