They had a bye in the first round and defeated Ella Tripp and Joanne Wright of Great Britain in the second. In the quarterfinals, Bruil and Audina lost to Ra Kyung-minimum and Lee Kyung-won of of Korea 15-5, 15-2. They had a bye in the first round and were defeated by Kim Dong-moon and Ra Kyung-minimum of of Korea in the round of 16.
She also participated in the 2000 Summer Olympics, reaching the quarter finals of the women"s doubles with Nicole van Hooren.
As a part of the British Columbia Amersfoort team Bruil reached the final of the European Cup 2007 held in Amersfoort. Together with Yao Jie, Larisa Griga, Dicky Palyama and Eric Pang the final was lost against the team of Netherlands Primoriye.
In the semi finals they were too strong for Central Bank Rinconada.
