Young Pervaiz Kaleem was popular in his town for his library.
At the age of eight, he was admitted to the sixth class in a well-known school of Lahore, the cathedral school.
After completing his matriculation, Pervaiz entered and began attending Government College of Lahore in Lahore where he earned a Bachelor. In his early years living in Lahore, he Entered in Evernew Studios Lahore. He worked there as a peon, trolley man and then he reached one day to famous director Agha Hussaini and he assisted him for 5 years.
He managed to write the dialogue for a minor film for Rs. 50. Occasionally, he used to work as an assistant.
In 1987 Pervaiz started a movie as director and writer named jazbaat But it not completed due to production problem.
In 1988 Pervaiz sign a movie Bazar-e-Hussan as writer and it becomes his recognize mark in film industry. Their first movie under this banner was Gunnah which was a block buster hit in 1990. Their second production was Jaltay Badan.

Unfortunately this film did not give them good business. In 1993 Pervaiz gives a hit Butt Shikken this film puts him in top directors and writers in Pakistan. The latter script was written by Pervaiz.
