Career
He played college football at California State University, Los Angeles and West Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. He was honored to be in Hall of Fames from his Redlands High School and California State University, Los Angeles playing days. Weatherwax was drafted by the Packers in the eleventh round (150th overall) of the 1965 NFL Draft.
Weatherwax played 34 games during his three professional seasons in 1966, 1967, and 1969, all with Green Bay.
After his football career was over, he worked as a manager and was part owner of a Marie Callenders Restaurant in El Toro, California. He is now retired living in Northern Colorado.
