Career

Powers was born in Baldwin, Wisconsin on February 6, 1953. He graduated from Saint Croix Central High School, in Hammond, Wisconsin, and from Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Powers was ordained a priest of the Superior Diocese on May 20, 1990.

He was consecrated and installed as Bishop on February 18, 2016.
