Career
His family moved to the United States to expand their wheel business (Autotrend Tire & Wheel Company) when he was young. Whilst now living in New York state, he still calls Australia home. Scarallo started in karting at aged eleven mainly in the Eastern Kart Racing Association events.
He is a graduate of the Jim Hall Kart School and he proceeded through the junior formulae.
In 2000 he had six starts in the Toyota Atlantic Championship driving for Condor Motorsport without a top-ten finish. He returned to the Industry Pro Series (now Firestone Industry Lights) in 2007 with RLR Andersen Racing finishing eighteenth in points with a best finish of eighth at the Milwaukee Mademoiselle (Miss)
In 2003 he joined the North American Transport-Am ranks racing for three seasons with a fifth place in the 2005 standings as his best result. After his Industry Lights season in 2001, he raced in the SCCA World Challenge in the GT class with limited success.
In 2010 he made is National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing debut in the Nationwide Series running on the Road America and Watkins Glen road courses helping a small team collect base prize money for qualifying and pulling out of the races early.
