He played college basketball for the University of Rochester where he starred in his four seasons with the Yellow Jackets. In August 2013, DiBartolomeo signed a three-year deal with Computer-assisted instruction Zaragoza. He was later loaned to Palma Air Europa of the LEB Plata for the 2013-2014 season.
In 33 games for Palma in 2013-2014, he averaged 15.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game.
He returned to Palma for the 2014-2015 season after helping the club earn promotion to the LEB Oro. In 28 games for Palma in 2014-2015, he averaged 11.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
On June 17, 2015, DiBartolomeo signed a two-year deal with Maccabi Haifa of the Israeli Basketball Premier League after his contract with Zaragoza, who still owned his rights, was bought out. lieutenant was Tel-Aviv"s biggest loss in history, and the fewest points the team scored since the introduction of the 24-second shot clock.
