He worked most of his professional life for Radio Corporation of America in the fields of acoustics, specifically large scale loudspeakers and stereophony. He retired from Radio Corporation of America in 1970. He was, amongst others, responsible for the development and design of the sound systems for the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington District of Columbia He was a Fellow of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), the Acoustical Society of America (American Statistical Association), and the Audio Engineering Society (Advanced Encryption Standard).
