Career
During his period in office Perceval served in William Pitt the Younger"s government. His titles he inherited from his father, John Perceval, 2nd Earl of Egmont upon his death in 1770: He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baron Lovel and Holland, Baron Lovel and Holland of Enmore, company Somerset on 4 December 1770.
He succeeded to the title of 7th Baronet Perceval on 4 December 1770.
He succeeded to the title of 3rd Earl of Egmont, company Cork on 4 December 1770.
He succeeded to the title of 3rd Viscount Perceval of Kanturk, company Cork on 4 December 1770.
He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Perceval of Burton, company
Cork on 4 December 1770. They had a son: John Perceval, 4th Earl of Egmont.
