Jon Doscher and Starline Films produced a film loosely based on the history of the Atwood-Blauvelt mansion, in Oradell, New Jersey. The Blauvelt Mansion, as it is commonly known, was built between 1896 and 1897, and is considered the grandest example of shingle style architecture in Bergen County, New Jersey. The film is dedicated to philanthropic endeavors and is aligned with the BlauveltDemarest Foundation, the official charitable organization for the Bluefield movie project This is the organization which operates the Hiram Blauvelt Museum, also located on the same property of the Blauvelt Mansion.
Jon directed the film and hopes to bring awareness to the plight of the Blauvelt Mansion, and ultimately secure the mansion a nomination to the State and National Registers of Historic Places, as its future is uncertain.
