Career
Chirlee emigrated to the United States in 2006, and became a United States citizen in March 2010, but due to IAAF regulations was barred from international competition for two years after that. In 2012, Chirlee ran an Olympic-qualifying 10k time at Wageningen, but he did not make the Olympic team, finishing 16th at the Olympic trials. 10,000 metres - 27:43.96 (Wageningen, 2012)
