Youth
On November 8, 2011, Pelosi joined Premier League side Liverpool. On February 17, 2013, in a match for the under-21 team, Pelosi suffered a double fracture on his right leg which ruled him out for over a year. Pelosi signed a new contract with the club while recuperating from his injury however he was released by the club at the end of that contract on June 10, 2015.
Professional
On July 17, 2015, Pelosi returned to the United States and signed with his hometown Master of Library Science side San Jose Earthquakes.
He made his professional debut on July 26 in a 3–1 defeat to Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club. International
Pelosi has represented the United States in every youth level so far. He was the captain for the under-17 national team at the 2011 Fédération internationale de football association U-20 World Cup.
On January 9, 2015, Pelosi received his first senior call up for friendlies against Chile and Panama, but he didn"t feature in either of the matches.
He was also a member of the under-23 side that took third place in the 2015 Toulon Tournament.
