Marc S. Ellenbogen is an American businessman, diplomat and philanthropist, who is Chairman of the Global Panel Foundation, President of the Prague Society and former Member of the National Advisory Board of the United States Democratic Party and former Vice Chair & Founding Trustee of the Democratic Expat Leadership Council.
Career
In 2009 United States. President Barack Obama nominated Ellenbogen to be Ambassador to Bulgaria. He is known for his efforts to fight against corruption in Central and Eastern Europe. A respected Ambassador once described Ellenbogen as "something akin to an antiCommunist Bounty Hunter.".
Membership
Ellenbogen has spent nearly two decades seeking justice against former Communist officials and members of the Communist-era secret police.
