She has published peer-reviewed scientific articles on many diseases of women including ovarian cancer, breast cancer, multiple sclerosis, and discovered the first gene for uterine fibroids. She provided scientific evidence for a genetic component to Hyperemesis Gravidarum, is a science advisor for the Hyperemesis Education and Research Foundation, and is involved in the first study to identify predisposing genes for HG.hyperemesis.org.
