She is best known for her novels with historical and love themes and for her Catherine (book series) of novels which was made into a television series in 1986. When he went to Indochina, she found herself back in Paris. There, she plunged into journalism, including historical articles
She was asked by Gérald Gauthier, the editor of Opera Mundi, to write a historical novel.
The resulting Catherine novel, Il suffit d"un amour, was a huge world-wide success and launched her career as a novelist. She travelled widely, and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
