Career
McIntosh was drafted by the Tigers with pick 31 in the 2012 American Federation of Labor-Congress Draft and was only the fourth player from Western Australia to be selected via the national draft. McIntosh was a Victorian state under 16s representative in 2010, and in 2012, was an American Federation of Labor-Congress under 18s national representative. During 2013, He played in the VFL competition before his season ended in round 18 following a shoulder injury.
McIntosh was recruited from the Pinjarra Tigers.
American Federation of Labor-Congress McIntosh debuted for Richmond in Round 1, 2015 against Carlton. In June 2015 he signed a new two year deal with club, keeping him a Tiger until the end of the 2017 season.
