Although born in the United States of America, he lived his first 18 years in the Cayman Islands. Originally he represented the Cayman Islands, then United States of America, and then from 1999 the Cayman Islands again. Two times in the role, he was awarded the Austin Sealy Trophy for the most outstanding athlete of the 1989 CARIFTA Games and 1990 CARIFTA Games.
In the long jump competition, he did not qualify for the final.
