Born in Princeton, Wisconsin, Currie graduated from University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and taught school for a few years.
Born in Princeton, Wisconsin, Currie graduated from University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh and taught school for a few years.
He then received his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and practiced law in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. In 1951, he was elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court and in 1964 became chief justice of the court. In 1967, he was defeated for reelection.
He served as reserve judge in Dane County, Wisconsin.
