He is most known as the voice of Samay, the narrator in the television series, Mahabharat (1988-1990). He is Channel voice of Peace television Urdu. Formerly his voice was used for Idea Cellular as notification of mobile switch off, number busy or not available.
He is the leading voice in many documentaries, corporate films, feature films, television & Radio commercials, games, music albums apart from hosting public events and ceremonies, since the 1980s.
Media have variously described Harish Bhimani as ‘One of the Most Recognisable Voices of India’, ‘The Most-travelled Indian Compere’ and ‘A Writer with a Zing’. Harish did his schooling from Hansraj Morarji Public School, Mumbai, Elphinstone College, Mumbai, Laxminarayan Institute of Technology, Nagpur and completed his Master of Business Administration from the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
