Career
He played for B93,, Iraklis Thessaloniki, Lille, and Brøndby. After two years, in 1987/88 season, while playing for, he was the top scorer of the Greek Alpha Ethniki league with 21 goals in 27 matches. Between 1987 and 1989, he played a total of 37 league games for and scored 26 goals.
Then transferred to Turkish side for 1989-1990 season and scored 5 goals in 19 domestic matches.
He played eight games and scored two goals for Brøndby IF in the 1991-1992 Danish Superliga season. He also played in France, with Lille, where he made 9 goals in the French premier league.
An injury ended his career at the age of 28. Henrik Nielsen now lives in Copenhagen and likes a lot to play golf.
He has 5 daughters. He has a wines shop in Copenhagen.
