Lee joined the Army in May 1946. After the war he repaired radio and electronic equipment. A trade he had been taught and learned on the GI Bill.
He loved to fish and was a quiet and unassuming person.
Though he was wounded several times in the war, he showed no outward sign of any damage, limp or other ailment. You would not know the great and heroic things he had done by meeting him.
He was a wonderful person and greatly missed by all that knew him. He is buried in the Stoneville Cemetery.
The Stoneville Cemetery is located on Old Leland Road, between Leland and Greenville, Mississippi.
