Career
Pedersen was born in Taarnborg and received her education at the University of Copenhagen and Columbia University. Beginning in 1936, she worked for the Ministry of Justice. Following World World War II, she was the Copenhagen District Court judge from 1947 to 1950.
She was elected to the Parliament in 1950 and was appointed minister of justice.
Then, she was appointed judge to the Supreme Court.
