Ishod began skateboarding in Bordentown, New Jersey at the age of nine. Over the next few years, he began to progress at an impressive rate, dropping basketball and other previous interests in order to further pursue his career in skateboarding. Both of these contributed greatly to Wair"s success as the skateboard company he currently rides for, Real Skateboards, discovered his talent on that same day.
Real Skateboards subsequently gave him free skateboards for over a year and eventually, officially added him to the amateur team
Eventually, Ishod turned pro for Real Skateboards in 2011 and has ridden for the company ever since. His other sponsors include Nike, Thunder trucks, Spitfire wheels.
Fourstar, Anthony"s Cookies, Stance Socks, Monster Energy Drink, Diamond, Shake Junt, Bones Swiss, Epoke Eyewear and Exit Skateshop. In 2013, he was named Thrasher Skater of the Year after putting out four video parts.
Despite the fact that Wair did not win the contest or qualify for finals, the 2009 Tampa Am catalyzed his career thanks to both his performance in the competition as well as Wair handing out a Digital Video Disc with his skating to people attending the competition, particularly those who represented professional teams. In 2015 he made his first appearance at a Super Crown, finishing second - an impressive accomplishment considering the competition consisted of some of the best professionals in the industry.
