He played collegiately for the Northern Illinois University and was selected by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 3rd round (48th pick overall) of the 1974 National Basketball Association Draft. Bradley played for the Kentucky Colonels (1973-1975) and Denver Nuggets (1975-1976) in the American Bar Association for 98 games. In 1970, he led the East Chicago Roosevelt Roughriders to the Indiana Boys State Basketball title.
In 1972, he was named the Most Valuable Player of the Midwestern Conference.
In 1982, Bradley was found dead at age 29 in a Portland, Oregon, alley. He had been shot in the back.
