Emma Wright graduated high school in 2014.
Her parents are Jim and Wendy Wright. She has an older brother Ryan and an older sisters Rebecca and Claire. She started playing water polo when she was nine years old.
She didn’t really like water polo at first but it grew on her.
At age 16, Emma Wright was the youngest player, by more than four years, on the team that competed at the 2013 FINA World Championships. Among Wright’s other junior successes were gold at the 2013 Junior Pan Am Games to go with silver and bronze at the Junior Pan Am Championships in 2012 and 2014.
She was part of the Canadian team at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships.
Claire Wright was also a member of the water polo national team
