Career
He was born on November 24, 1870. He earned an Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University in 1891, an Master of Arts in 1892, a Doctor of Philosophy in 1893, and an Bachelor of Laws in 1894. In 1893 he published a book on American colonial voting practices.
He died on March 30, 1935 in Lenox, Massachusetts.
His book collection was sold after his death.
