Career

He is Jewish, and was born in Voznesensk, Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. He played all nine matches as goalkeeper. He played six matches as goalkeeper. He played four matches as goalkeeper.

Achievements

• Four years later he won the bronze medal with the Soviet team in the water polo competition at the 1956 Games. At the 1960 Games he was part of the Soviet team which won the bronze medal in the Olympic water polo tournament.

In 1952 he was a member of the Soviet team which finished seventh in the Olympic water polo tournament.
