Career
He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2003. He also played college football at Kentucky and Northern Colorado. College Football While attending Arvada West High School, Pyatt earned All-Colorado and All-American honors in 1998 and 1999, and during his junior year he helped lead the school to the Class 5A state championship.
In 1999, Pyatt signed with the Kentucky Wildcats, despite scholarship offers from Southern California, Colorado and Miami.
After 3 years, during which Pyatt had surgery on his feet and saw less game time than he wanted, he decided to transfer to the University of Northern Colorado. While playing for the Bears, his best game came in the team’s 23-12 victory over the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats in the quarterfinals of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II playoffs, during which Pyatt caught seven passes for 126 yards and scored two touchdowns.
NFL and Post-Football Pyatt signed a free agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts and played 3 seasons as a Wide Receiver with the NFL team Pyatt also played NFL seasons for the Saint Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and the 2007 and 2008 American Federation of Labor-Congress seasons for the Colorado Crush.
Pyatt as of early 2014 became the head football coach of his alma mater high school, Arvada West High School in Arvada, Colorado.
