Career
He is currently playing with the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League (WHL). Carlo is rated as a top prospect who was projected as a possible first round selection in the 2015 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Carlo was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the second round, 37th overall of the draft, using the Philadelphia Flyers" pick that was sent first to the New York Islanders, then to Boston as part of the Johnny Boychuk trade.
In 2013, Carlo joined the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League.
During the 2014-2015 WHL season he was rewarded for his outstanding play when he was selected to take part in the 2015 CHL/National Hockey League Top Prospects Game.
