Huskey was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and didn"t meet his biological father until he was 17.

He attended Charlotte Country Day School for the entirety of grade school graduating in 1987.
He is best known for his role as a correspondent on The Onion News Network and currently co-stars as Chet on the Adult Swim comedy series Childrens Hospital and as Victor on the Comedy Central series Another Period. He attend University of North Carolina at Greensboro graduating with a degree in English and minor in photography. At this time he began to play in a band "Bicycle Face".
Huskey later relocated to New York City to attend photo school and worked as a photographer"s assistant.
He would then meet and later be roommates with Rob Corddry. From this, he frequently appeared in comedy sketches on Late Night with Conan O"Brien for many years and was a regular panelist on Video Hits One"s Best Week Ever.
He currently has a recurring role in Corddry"s Adult Swim series Childrens Hospital, playing "Chet" the creepy EMT worker He was promoted from recurring to series regular in the fifth season.
Huskey also appeared as correspondent Duncan Birch on the International Finance Corporation cable news satire The Onion News Network.
Other past programs in which Huskey co-starred include the Music Television prank show Damage Control and the Video Hits One comedy series Free Radio. In 2014, Huskey recurred as Larry on the short-lived American Broadcasting Company sitcom Selfie. Huskey"s first notable break was opposite Molly Erdman in a commercial campaign for Sonic Drive-In.
They both would later be fired from this role as the result of an The Onion News Network veterans parody he wrote and performed.
Huskey has also made many guest appearances on comedy programs including Community, Parks and Recreation, Nick Swardson"s Pretend Time, Worst Week, Happy Endings, Animal Practice, The Inbetweeners, Workaholics, and Veep. He has also appeared in films such as Superbad, Step Brothers, Semi-Pro, and Meet Dave.
Huskey has appeared in a number of commercials including for Sonic Drive-In as well as Wendy"s and in 2011 the "The Swagger Wagon" ad campaign for the Toyota Sienna.
At UCBT, Huskey was a member of the sketch troupe "The Naked Babies" with comedians Rob Corddry, Seth Morris and John Ross Bowie.
