Morin is a regular DIY and lifestyle contributor to National Broadcasting Company’s TODAY show. She has also been a contributor for Rachael Ray, Steve Harvey, Cable News Network, Yahoo and The Huffington Post. Her first book, Homemakers: A Domestic Handbook for Digital Generation, was published in March 2015.
Morin was born in San Antonio, Texas.
After graduation, Morin moved to Silicon Valley. She worked at Apple on iTunes and later spent four years at Google, where she helped launch projects such as Google television, Google Maps, Google Search, and iGoogle.
In 2011, at age 25, she left Google to start Brit + Company, a media and e-ecommerce platform for DIY aimed at women and girls. Brit + Company seeks to connect users "with makers, designers, chefs, and inventors" to build "a community of creativity." The platform has more than 10 million monthly users through its website and mobile apps.
