Background
He was born in the Stockholm parish of Maria Magdalena in 1892 and grew up in the suburb of Djursholm outside the city. Bror Geijer Göthe was called von Geijer after his mother and was the youngest of five children who were raised by his father Georg Göthe and a maid called Hanna after their mother died in 1896. Göthe grew up in an environment full of aristocrat families such as the Follins, Hamiltons and Lilliehööks.
