She was spotted by theatre director Paul Kerryson while participating in the first season of the British Broadcasting Corporation reality television series Fame Academy in 2002. After Fame Academy, Beeput went on to star as Maria in a production of the musical West Side Story at Leicester Haymarket Theatre, and Money to Burn at London"s The Venue. In Kerryson"s highly acclaimed production of "West Side Story" she received positive reviews.
After appearing as Bethany Mortimer in the ITV1 series Football players" Wives, she landed the lead role of Rose in the London West End production of Daddy Cool, a musical based on the music of Boney M., at the Shaftesbury Theatre and European tour.
Following Daddy Cool, Beeput appeared as Crystal Gordon in Bad Girls: The Musical from August through November 2007. Camilla played Shun in the Young Vic production of In The Red And Brown Water by Tarell Alvin McCraney.
