Career
Born in Oeiras, Alves kicked his career with Belenenses. However he could not make any first team appearance. He made his debut with Atlético Communist Party while on loan from Belenenses.
After the loan spell ended he signed for Oriental in 2008.
After a season spending at the club, he signed permanently for the Lisbon outfit. In 2010, Alves signed for Montijo.
But injury hindered his progress in the club, as he made no appearances for lieutenant He was then transferred to AD Oeiras in 2011.
He was regular at the club, making 25 appearances.
The following season, he played for 1º Dezembro where he made 30 league appearances. In 2013, he signed for Oriental. In his first season for the club it was promoted to Segunda Liga.
He made his professional debut in Taça da Liga match against Santa Clara.
