Time kept by a Frodsham clock was the official time piece of Australia when it was founded by the British in 1788.
The clock remains on display at the Royal Observatory in Sydney. Frodsham"s demonstration double-escapement skeleton clock, numbered 883, manufactured for the Great Exhibition of 1851, is believed to be unique.
