Fulham
Banya began his career at Fulham, joining the club at the age of 12, but he never made a first-team appearance, although he was an unused substitute for the Premier League match against Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium in November 2012. On 2 November 2013, Banya joined Woking on loan, where he made eight appearances for the club Banya was released by Fulham at the end of his contract in 2014.
Crawley Town
On 7 August 2014, Banya joined Crawley Town on a short-term deal after his release from Fulham.
While at Crawley Town Banya returned to Woking for a second spell on loan, scoring one goal in his ten appearances for the club At the beginning of the 2015 - 16 season Banya did not have a club but in November he had a successful trial at National League South side Maidstone United.
He quickly established himself as a regular starter.
