Career
He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nebraska-Omaha. He was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth round (184th overall) in the 2001 NFL Draft.
He was traded to the Dallas Cowboys on September 11, 2004 for a conditional draft choice (not exercised).
He was waived from the Cowboys on November 3, 2004. The San Francisco 49ers signed him in the 2004 offseason.
After a brief stint with the Seattle Seahawks, Cooper signed with the Arizona Cardinals. He was released on February 21, 2008 by the Cardinals.
The Seattle Seahawks re-signed Cooper to a one-year deal for the 2008 season.
The Raiders signed Cooper on April 6, 2010. The Raiders released Cooper on September 4, 2010.
