Claire is supported with scholarships from German Academic Exchange Service as well as Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben for the past two years. Having completed four years of study at The, she has continued her music education in Germany at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover under Professor Arie Vardi from October 2007.

Huangci has appeared as a soloist performing with well-known orchestras such as the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony, the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Sir Roger Norrington, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the China Philharmonic, the Street St. Petersburg Symphony, the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie, the Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt, the Santa Fe Symphony as well as the Istanbul State Symphony.
She has already performed in famous international venues such as (Carnegie Hall), the (Tonhalle), Konzerthaus Berlin, Gasteig Munich, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Salle Cortot Paris, Oji Hall in Tokyo and Symphony Hall in Osaka. Additionally, she is a warmly welcomed guest artist at festivals such as the Kissinger Sommer, Verbier Festival, Lodz Rubinstein Festival, Menuhin Festival Gstaad, Mozartfest Würzburg and the Schwetzinger Festspiele.
Highlights from the 10–11 season included concerts with the Cannes Orchestre, Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt,Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, Umea Sinfonieorchester, a tour of Europe with Maestro Howard Griffiths and the Animato Stiftung Orchestra, and recitals in the Lodz Rubinstein Festival, Ravinia Festival, Gstaad Sommets Musicaux, Menuhin Festival Gstaad, Paris Solistes Serres Auteil Festival, Flanders Festival Ghent, Munich Gasteig Winners and Masters Series, Copenhagen Tivoli Hall, Berlin Konzerthaus, and tours in Japan and United States of America.
