Career
A right-arm medium pace bowler, and right-handed batsman, Browne played first-class cricket for both Barbados and British Guiana in a career that spanned from 1908 to 1938. Browne was born in Robert"s Tenantry, Saint Michael, Barbados. He played two Tests while touring England in 1928 and two at home when England visited the West Indies in 1929.
At one time he was a magistrate in British Guiana.
He died in Georgetown, British Guiana (now Georgetown, Guyana) aged 73 years 96 days.
