Daulby was born in Vancouver, British Columbia.
He spends his time between his home town of Maple Ridge and Vancouver. He discovered his love for acting as a young teen after witnessing the musical production of Blast! at the Broadway Theatre. Your twenties aren"t a time to party.
lieutenant"s a time to work and get ahead of everyone else who"s partying. I started in this business when I was 14.
To me it"s 14 years too late. So in reality I have some catching up to do.
I don"t party, I don"t drink, I work.
Acting isn"t an art of "faking" it"s the ability to bring a character to life, just like you and I am alive. He started his two year acting program under the department head and Gemini Award winning actor, writer, director, and producer Philosophy Granger and completed the program in September 2014. His hard work paid off after landing the starring role in the feature film "The Woodcarver," alongside John Ratzenburger, and then was tapped to co-star as the corky character in the Leo Award-winning big screen adaptation "Sitting On the Edge of Marlene" - from the short story "The Trouble With Marlene" by award-winning Canadian author, Billie Livingston.
Daulby portrays the ruthless Nazi-esque, yet charming head of the Espheni brainwashing camps, Kent Matthews, on Falling Skies.
On the show, he worked closely with Maxim Knight, Noah Wyle, Will Patton, Doug Jones and Colin Cunningham. He also starred in the edgy and intense Canadian horror thriller, Black Fly which was released at international film festivals in 2014.
Daulby has also co-written and will co-direct and co-produce with Amir Aghelnejad an extended short, dark comedy about the seven stages of grief.
