Rotherham United
Rowe began his career with Rotherham United after leaving Darlington. At the end of the 2013-2014 season, Rowe was offered a new contract at Rotherham United, which he accepted. Loan spells
On 7 March 2014, Rowe joined Conference North side Stalybridge Celtic on work-experience loan.
On 27 March 2014, Rowe joined League Two side Wycombe Wanderers on loan until the end of the 2013-2014 season.
Rowe made his Wycombe Wanderers debut, two days later on 29 March 2014, in a 0-0 draw against Scunthorpe United. Rowe re-joined Wycombe on loan for three months on 31 July 2014, along with Rotherham team-mate Nicky Walker.
After making eight appearance, Rowe was recalled by Rotherham United on 27 September 2014. Weeks later on 18 October 2014, Rowe re-joined Wycombe for the third time on loan until 3 January 2014.
After making sixteen appearance, Rowe loan spell with Wycombe Wanderers was extended until the end of the season.
Wycombe Wanderers
On 30 June 2015, Rowe rejoined Wycombe from Rotherham on a permanent deal, where he signed a three-year contract with the Buckinghamshire side.
