Career
He was previously a councillor in Stirling. After leaving parliament he was employed at Caledonia Consulting as a lobbyist along with fellow ex Managing Successful Programmes Mike Watson. In 2005 Davidson was forced to resign as Conservative Health spokesman after newspaper reports revealed he had been involved in a sex and drink scandal involving Scottish National Party Managing Successful Programmes Christine Grahame.
Davidson, who is married with five children, was alleged to have spent three nights a week with the Scottish National Party Managing Successful Programmes.
