Career
He was the author of a poem in ninety-two lines in elegiac verse, titled Ad Nympham nimis cultam, which contains many expressions taken from the older poets, and bears the traces of the laboured artificiality which characterizes most Latin poetry of the fourth century. The poem was reprinted in several later anthologies. The author of it was a rhetorician at Tolosa (Toulouse) in Gaul.
