Career
He has produced music for top artists like KAT-TUN, Arashi, Sandaime J Soul Brothers, East-girls, EXO, Girls Generation, VIXX and SHINee and is one of the most commercially successful active J-People’s and K-People’s writers and producers with over 25 Number.1 placements to his name amounting to over 6.5 million records sold. Albertsson grew up in Germany, Japan and in the United States of America.
In 2010, Albertsson began his Tonmeister studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, but eventually dropped out after one semester. During that time, he already composed and produced songs for German and European artists including Haudegen, Max Mutzke and Kitty Kat.
He was signed to BMG Rights Management for three years.
His manager at the time introduced him to Japanese and Korean labels. Since 2011, he has been composing and producing songs for renowned Asian artists and has been awarded multiple gold, platinum and diamond citations.
On July 12, 2015, the Girls Generation song “PARTY” produced by Albertsson was nominated as the “Best Song Of The Week” by United States magazine Vanity Fair. In 2013, Albertsson founded MUSSASHI Publishing, a publishing company based in Berlin focusing mainly on the Asian music market.
