Career
Tredinnick was recruited from the Goldfields of Western Australia, where he was known as an all-round sportsman who played football, cricket and ran competitively as a sprinter. He was an employee of the Western Australian Bank while living in Kalgoorlie, which meant he had to run under the assumed name "Alf Hall". He moved to Victoria in 1901 and played for Melbourne in the VFL for a single season.
Tredinnick died in 1910.
His obituary remembered him as "one of the best football players and athletes in the district".
