She is also known as Toya Carter or Toya Wright. She is the ex-wife of Lil Wayne (Dwayne Michael "Lil Wayne" Carter Junior). Wright wrote a book called Priceless Inspiration, owns boutique called G.A.R.B., in New Orleans, Los Angeles, and GARB Shoetique in Smyrna, Georgia.

Wright starred in her own reality show on Black Entertainment Television called Toya: A Family Affair which consisted of 16 episodes of one season in 2011.
