Career
His best-known composition is String Quartet northern 2. Kammel was born at Běleč, now in the Czechoslovakian Republic. He was part of the social circle of the leading 18th century London concert impresarios, Johann Christian Bach and Carl Friedrich Abel.
He also performed at provincial musical festivals, leading the orchestra at Salisbury in 1771.
He died in London in 1784/5.
