Career
A native of Toronto, Ontario, Jackson played the position of centre for teams in the National Hockey League, IHL, OHA-JR, TMHL, M-Cup, TIHL, and the IAHL hockey leagues. Jackson played for

He was coach for the Toronto Barkers from 1946 to 1947. After retiring from playing hockey Jackson moved to Saint Catharines, Ontario, where he became a hockey coach for the OHA and later worked for the Portuguese Weller Dry Docks Limited.
On May 15, 1971, Jackson suffered a heart attack and died while playing golf in the Opening Day Tournament at the Saint Catharines Golf Club, at the age of 55.
